Naturally Reducing High Blood Pressure

Updated: Oct 15, 2023

The outwardly, calm and relaxing Caribbean island of Barbados, hides a pressure-cooker health crisis. According to statistics, more than one-third of Barbadians aged 25-70 years suffer from hypertension, the main risk factor for cardiovascular disease - the world's number one killer.

Among those many Barbadians who were at risk is Johnny Roberts (affectionately known as Andy) but this was until he discovered our therapeutic guidelines and herbal supplement to help him manage his high blood pressure and start the journey back to health.

Following is Andy's story:

My Journey

On July 3rd, I found out my Blood Pressure was 171/101, that was a serious scare and wake-up call for me. The fact that I was 220lbs also added to the problem. Prior to finding out my true blood pressure reading, Pamela gave me a formula with the name Blood Pressure written on the label when I told her my history of high blood pressure. The next day under the guidance of Pamela, I started the process of fighting for my health by changing my diet. My wife started to prepare meals low in sodium and salads as well, which encouraged me even more to stick it out.

Two days after changing my diet and using the Blood Pressure Formula, my blood pressure dropped to 148/87. Over the last 5 weeks apart from a few setbacks, we managed to get my blood pressure down to 124/74 and my current weight to 208lbs (down 12lbs). With the diet change, the guidance of Pamela and my 3 to 4 days a week in the gym I am very happy with my progress although I know I still have some ways to go, I prefer my current results.

I would recommend anyone with similar challenges i.e High Blood Pressure, Obesity etc use the Blood Pressure Formula and follow the guidance of Pamela.

I have the results to show it works.

Therapeutic Guidelines

The statistics as at 2016 highlights that Cardiovascular Disease, primarily heart attacks and strokes, kill 17.5 million people worldwide each year, one-third before the age of 70 years. I therefore implore you to develop your Personal Self Care Plan based on the following tips (not comprehensive) to take back your health.

1. Maintain a healthy body weight- Making exercise a regular habit can help lower your blood pressure and make your heart stronger. You do not necessarily need to join a gym, you just need to be active enough to keep your heart rate elevated for at least 30 mins a day, at least 3 days weekly. These activities can include brisk walking, jogging, lifting weights or even biking. Always remember to include stretches as part of your workout routine and properly warm-up and cool down to avoid injury.

2. Dietary changes - It is very important that you make appropriate dietary changes such as eating foods rich in fiber, complex carbohydrates and potassium. Eat more whole grains, vegetables (garlic and onions included), fruits like avocado and melon, nuts, seeds and legumes. Drink Coconut water and eliminate the caffeine and alcohol. Eliminate salt from your diet as well as saturated fats.

3. Lifestyle changes- Studies have shown that cigarette smoking accounts for more than 400, 000 premature deaths each year in the USA alone, thus making it a leading cause for morbidity and mortality. Evidence from several epidemiological studies has demonstrated that at any level of blood pressure, smoking substantially increases the risk for all cardiovascular complications associated with hypertension (U.S National Library of Medicine). Reduce the impact of stress and incorporate stress reduction techniques.

4. Monitoring Your Blood Pressure- performing regular checks of your blood pressure at home is an important part of managing high blood pressure. The American Heart Association and other organizations recommend that anyone with high blood pressure should perform regular checks at home as home monitoring can help you keep tabs on your blood pressure in a familiar setting, make certain your medication/herbal supplement is working, and alert you and your doctor to potential health complications.

5. Herbal Supplements - I am a strong advocate for following medical advice, taking prescription medication and having regular check-ups. I am also persuaded that based on the rewarding client results, that herbal remedies are also very effective as natural compliments. So, are you wondering how to lower blood pressure in addition to changing your diet? Our Blood Pressure Formula contains cardiotonics, vascular tonics and circulatory stimulating herbs to effectively help lower high blood pressure.
